Hey I'm Chloe (@cleaningchloe),
I'm 29 years old and live in Melbourne, Australia. I got into cleaning as a way of helping to cope with my anxiety and depression after finding Mrs Hinch in 2018. I started a cleaning Instagram account more as a hobby and to meet other cleaning accounts, it's been a journey but one I'm happy I started. I have put together a few of my favourite cleaning tips, I hope you find them useful and would love to hear your feedback!

To make my house and each room smell amazing once I've finished cleaning I usually pour a cap of concentrate disinfectant in to my artificial plants every few days. The concentrate disinfectants I like to use are Sklean, Fabulosa & Zoflora.

A great trick for cleaning oven racks is to leave them to soak for 2 hours in hot water with 2 dishwasher tablets. I use the Astonish dishwasher tablets and find those work a treat.

Soak your hair brush in warm water with shampoo for around an hour, bristle side down, then take out and leave in a warm spot overnight bristle side down. Make sure you have removed as much hair as possible. I like to use my tweezers to help.

Cleaning your toothbrush is so important and so easy to do. Simply place your toothbrushes head side down in warm water and pop in a denture tablet. I like to do this in the morning and leave them in for a few hours, you could also do this overnight, then simply rinse and you're left with a sparkling clean toothbrush - great for prolonging use, using less plastic and saving money.
